Ghouls, ghosts, Frankenstein, witches, pirates, Sponge Bob, GSE's very own beauty contestants, and everyone in between walked the halls of Golden Springs and around the block for their annual Halloween parade to the tunes of Monster Mash and Michael Jackson's Thriller. Batman (aka Mr. P) stood in front of the office as he high-fived the students walking out. The parents were groovin' as they took loads of pictures of their children. The school was definitely in the spirit of Halloween this year as our dedicated volunteers decorated the school with black and orange streamers and balloons.
I enjoyed seeing the delight of the parents as they see the kids having a great time. Thank you to all the staff and students for participating.
See you all again at the school's next event.

This is our eighth year of watching our children hop, skip, walk and jump their way through the annual Golden Springs Halloween parades, and I must say that last Friday's event was particularly memorable. Thanks so much to our awesome PTO, GS Staff and parent volunteers who worked hard to make this year's event such fun and festive one.
ReplyDeleteSpecial kudos to Mrs. Saenz, who had everyone laughing with delight as she boogied, jived and danced her way down the hallway in her best seventies-style garb.
